Disaronno Velvet in Italy, a multi-faceted project

Thanks to its refreshing and velvety texture and its low alcohol content, Disaronno Velvet is certainly the perfect liqueur for the summer. It is even more so in Italy, where the new Dolcevita mood is truly a way of being: to affirm this primacy and to reach an ever wider public of admirers, Disaronno Velvet’s communication strategy has been structured with a synergistic plan of actions, from the organization of targeted events in the coolest summer venues, to capillary participation in trade fairs (such as the Roma Bar Show and the Mixology Experience in Milan) and a massive presence in dedicated magazines. The result was very soon apparent: whether on the beach or on a terrace, Disaronno Velvet and its flagship cocktail Disaronno Velvet Batida are truly the “must have” of summer 2023, in Italy first and foremost.

Mixology Experience and Roma Bar Show: Illva products at Mixology fairs

May was an intense month for the brands in the Illva portfolio, one full of opportunities to meet the world of bartenders:

– From May 7th to 9th Disaronno Velvet, The Busker, Rump@blic and Artic were the protagonists of two large multimedia stands at the Mixology Experience in Milan, where they showed all their versatility, ideal for inspiring the creation of new cocktails and for keeping up with the new trends in mixology and Made in Italy;

– On May 29th and 30th, in the spectacular setting of Palazzo Dei Congressi in Rome, Illva Saronno presented a Disaronno Velvet branded terrace, to experience all the product innovations together with the bartenders, through masterclasses, tastings and a busy calendar of appointments.

Stampa Trade project: the visibility that supports on-trade channels

To reach an ever-growing audience of professionals in the beverage world and to offer ever greater visibility to the on-trade channels served by Illva products, the Italy marketing strategy has focused on increasing investments in the Press communication channel, through specific ADV campaigns in specialized magazines, with extensive print and online coverage. In authoritative publications such as GBI, COQTAIL MILANO, Distribuzione Horeca, Mixer and many others, the brands in the Illva Saronno portfolio have found the perfect showcase.

New York International Spirits Competition: awards for The Busker and Tia Maria

We are happy to share the results of the 2023 New York International Spirits Competition in which our own The Busker and Tia Maria received excellent scores and awards, including the prestigious ‘Irish Whiskey of the Year‘, for all of the offerings in the The Busker range.

Remarkable results for two brands that are the result of innovation and quality-oriented research.

Engine & Eataly: the all-Italian partnership conquers the USA

Two Engine-branded events enlivened the Eataly stores in New York and Chicago: two special appointments to present the 100% organic Gin, produced in the Langhe region and distributed abroad by Illva Saronno, to the media and to commercial contacts on the US market.

The brand presentations and cocktail tastings, led by Paolo Dalla Mora and Salvatore Tafuri (CEO and US Brand Ambassador of Engine, respectively), made it possible to generate a targeted focus on this innovative brand, involving a well renowned and respected brand such as Eataly, leader in the High-end large-scale distribution that brings Italian excellences to the world.
