The Global Fortified Masters 2023

by The Drink Business, specifically dedicated to fortified wines:

Moving into German-speaking countries, FALSTAFF awarded the Vermentino of Sentiero del Vento as one of the best tastings at the VERMENTINO TROPHY: Sentiero del Vento 2022 | 93 POINTS

We then conquered the USA where VINOUS, the magazine founded by Antonio Galloni and regarded as one of the most authoritative wine publications in the world, awarded the CALANICA ROSATO 2022 a score of 90 points, while WINE ENTHUSIAST, the American magazine born in 1988, reference for the trade and for industry insiders awarded these scores:

– Florio Marsala Vergine 2009 | 91 POINTS
– Florio Marsala Semisecco Superiore Riserva | 90 POINTS

Last (in order of publication) but most definitely not least, was the Sicily En Primeur 2023 Report signed by Monica Larner for ROBERT PARKER WINE ADVOCATE: she was enthralled by Marsala Florio, awarding very high scores to these masterpieces of liquid art:

Marsala Vergine Riserva VR1898 is the wine that obtained the highest score in the report, 96 points, followed by Marsala Superiore Riserva Semisecco SR0301 with 94 points.
